Ok....here i go again.
The second time i started a blog and the second time i am making a post. But this time i wish to make a mark in the annals of literature. So here goes.
With my regular exams out of the picture i now sit back to make the most of this long awaited break. What with weed, ciggies and the likes, seems to be an ideal holiday. But it is time to retrospect. Life over the past three years seems to have flown past like a haze, with me in a daze(hey...that rhymed). What have i gained over this period. Knowledge wud be a lie. THey teach us a lot of cra* in engineering for sure. Nothing of any practical importance. But career options now seem frighteningly close.
Campus recruitment was at its zenith a month or two ago. Lots of companies came in to pick up huge numbers of scrap students for brute labour. Job profile worth shi* and in-hand salary less than alms. "I am sorry sir, but i must decline; i am really not interested." Wierd huh? But from what we hear from seniors and contacts leads us to look at the IT industry with suspicion close to disdain. Do i look like a maintenance guy? I wud like to beleive i dont. But who can tell?
And then there is this mammoth hurdle called CAT. And we all know from history what has happened to all those who have wished to bell the CAT, barring Jerry mouse of course. But then i am surprised that Jerry hasn't opened up his own IIPM.That is what we have come to expect of CAT Gurus.
And Roadies 5.0 is getting on my nerves. Did you know that the effing Game goes effing International this time. If you are like me i am sure u dont give a rat's as*. Plus the IPL creating a craze like no other event. Seems to be a World Cup for the next 5 years, each year. And i support the Mumbai Indians. But the ungrateful bastar** are playing like shit, overall, although the recent recovery is a relief. And Sachin is not playing today either.
You must be wondering by now why the title "Chillout or Blackout?". Hel* it just sounded cool. Unless you are ready to consider the fact that this incessant slogwork for the useless exams has caused a serious blackout. Although right now i should be chilling out. Hate the logic? So do i. But one must save face somehow.
Must sign out now.
